Sarah-Jane Foale
Sarah-Jane has in excess of thirty years experience in the UK Construction market. Recently working alongside Tier 1 Contractors providing advice and account support on numerous Civil Engineering Projects with large amounts of change.
Sarah-Jane is described as organised and thorough by those who work with her and capable of controlling large size Civils Contracts both commercially and contractually.
Her extensive knowledge of the NEC suite of Contracts enables Clients to access the best options and ensure that notices are timely served to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Sarah-Jane has worked mainly Contractors in the UK Civils market on Flood defence works, Infrastructure and Aviation Projects.
Sarah-Jane is a Director in the Consultancy and is regarded by her Clients as an asset to their business.
Sarah-Jane outside of work likes to cook, bake and has raised money for charity by doing numerous sponsored events with her friends for charities such as Cancer UK.
Peter Foale
Peter initially trained as a Civil Engineer until he met Sarah-Jane who turned his head to the Contractual and Commercial side of the Construction Site.
Peter holds a Master of Laws in Construction Law and Adjudication (LLM) which he concluded with a dissertation in Concurrency of Delay assessment.
Peter is also a Member of the Chartered institute of arbitrators.
Peter has undertaken the CIArb Mediation Training and is a a competent negotiator.
Peter has over thirty years’ experience in the UK Construction market and has worked on a range of Contracts which include spells with Network Rail, and for Contractors associated with Aviation, MOD, Nuclear, Rail, Roads and General Civils works.
He is considered passionate and detailed in his approach and has a keen forensic capability to access time and contractual entitlement. As well as Commercial and Contractual lead Peter has also worked on adjudications in the preparation of referrals and rebuttals to assist Clients with disputes.
He has been described as dogged and enthusiastic by one of his Clients and dependable and thorough by another.
Joshua Foale
Joshua joined the family business after an initial spell as a trainee accountant. He is key in data analysis and provides support both within SPF and externally to Clients with the Memro Software and general data inputs and control. He is learning the Contractual requirements of the UK Construction Contracts and will be undertaking further education to develop his understanding.
Joshua is an asset to the team in his support in data protection (Excel and Memro) and has assisted in the analysis of data on numerous contracts and providing extensive data analysis.

During the last 22 years that SPF Associates Limited have been in business we have met a number of talented people who we would recommend and who we are willing to work with to perform as Planners and Commercial Staff. Our associates allow us, when available, to extend our services. Paul Edwards – Commercial Manager
Paul has worked in the Construction industry for over 30 years as a Quantity Surveyor, qualified within the Chartered Institute of Building and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has worked on a wide range of projects more recently on important infrastructure and energy investments in the UK, valued in the billions. He has worked with private clients, public bodies, developers, national and international contractors. His strengths lie in procurement, contracts management and change management, with an eye for detail and a comprehensive understanding of most domestic and international forms of construction contract.
Michael Ward – Forensic Planner
Mick has worked with us on a few projects and can provide detailed analysis and impact programmes to aid in the determination of entitlement. He is adept at Powerprojects and Primavera software. He has direct access to Powerprojects software. Mick has an eye for detail and a clarity of logic which aids no planners through the intricacies of calends logic restraints.
